Outraged by a car thief who stole his and other expensive sportscars in the neighborhood, an embittered man turns his luxury sedan into a trap to catch the thief he expects will quickly suffocate to death in the air-tight car. But it’s not air-tight. The Thief strikes, and is entrapped, but lingers for days. The owner repeatedly taunts the hated Thief, and several spirited debates ensue. The owner’s veteran neighbor knows the plan and meets the Thief. He too had a car stolen by the Thief, and he too was once trapped, in a pit for weeks. As the Thief slowly starves. the owner finally decides to set him free. But when the owner’s fiancé returns early from her trip and opens the car to retrieve a missing garment, the thief springs out and locks her in, and later entraps the owner. The tables are turned, but the innocent fiancé, caught in the middle, has her own opinions, of both men.
